Riders are gathering and volunteers are needed to help create a new riding opportunity! Volunteers should meet at 10:00 am at Shoreline Campground. The campground is located on Warm Lake (just follow the signs to North Shore Lodge) and at the campground there is a large parking area in front of the campground gate that is the new trailhead. The work day will involve cleaning up behind the mini-ex. We will be using some hand tools for tread work and also some loppers or brushing type tools. Tools provided so just show up.
There will be a group ride this Tuesday. Karen T will lead it starting at 5:30. Meet at the bottom of Potter Lane. If people start out later, the ride is going to be doing laps on that trail. So if you stay low, we'll all likely be able to hook up at some point. Fall riding is in the air!
Brundage Mountain’s Bike Trails are now completely closed for the season. Jon Crist and his crew have been approved to make some major upgrades and they are already attacking our trails aggressively so that they can be completed by winter and ready next spring! We know a lot of people like to climb UP our trails now that the lifts are closed, but this year, they will not be able to do so for safety reasons. Thanks!
Meet at E.ForkLake Fork Trailhead off of Lick Creek Road about 7 miles out.
At's an out and back superfun single track through alpine meadows and peaks, with great views of slickrock.
Meet at Julie/Jared's to ride and BBQ afterwards! Meet at 1620 Lakeridge Dr. You go 1 mile out Warren Wagon, left on Meadows Rd., drive about 1/4 mile, then right on Lakeridge Dr., curve around to the left continuing on Lakeridge Dr., and the house is on the left just before it curves around to the right. There is parking along the road. From there Group A (6pm) will ride Payette Rim, McCall’s classic town ride. Group B (6:30pm) will cruise the newly signed/connected/extended Bear Basin trails. Bring something to grill or a dish and beverages for the apres-cycle party!
Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, a Ride Leader has emerged and a Tuesday ride is back on! Its Bear Basin, August 25, 6:30pm (1 group). Meet at Snowmobile parking lot. The Forest Service has recently built some new trails and stuff to play on so it shoud be fun. Thanks to Jesse for leading! Hope to see you all there!
Hi CIMBA! Our ride leaders are weary and need some help. As far as I'm concerned, if you know a trail and have at least a 70% chance of getting back to the trailhead, please consider leading a ride for your CIMBA friends! To lead a ride or suggest a route, please call Lori at 315-0168 or lori.hall34@yahoo.com
~Thanks,-Brett
This is a very easy short ride for both A and B groups. We'll cruise through Ponderosa State Park, then head over to the picnic pavilion for social event with Nordic Club. Rip it if you want a little more workout...or a bigger thirst. PAYETTE NORDIC CLUB INVITES US TO THE BEER GARDEN AT THE RIDE IDAHO EVENT - 6:30 p.m. Celebrate riding in Idaho and meet the Ride Idaho cyclists!
Meet at parking area at old park station (actually in the park, way past the new checkpoint and new building). Carpool to avoid park pass fee, or ride from town.
